Alfred Noble Robinson Exempt & Nonexempt Staff Award
Recognizes outstanding performance in service to the University and unusual promise of professional achievement. Each year one award will be given to the most deserving exempt or nonexempt staff member of those nominated. Previous winners of this award have shown extraordinary enthusiasm for Lehigh’s goals and priorities, often working beyond their direct area/unit on University-wide projects or committees. Nominees must be employed full-time by Lehigh University in administration, research, or any combination of these and in at least the second year of such employment. Nominees must be less than 35 years of age on Founders Day. Only current staff members are eligible to receive nominations for this award (retired staff are not eligible). When a nominee is from the exempt staff, it will be screened by the Exempt Staff Award Committee, which will rank the top three candidates. Similarly, when a nominee is from the nonexempt staff, it will be screened by the Nonexempt Staff Award Committee, which will rank the top three candidates. The Nonexempt and Exempt Staff Award Committees will confer and in turn provide the name of the top staff candidate, along with a second and third ranked selections for affirmation by the Senior Officers.
