Perry & Carol Zirkel Nonexempt Staff Award

Established to recognize outstanding performance and contributions by a member of the nonexempt staff. No one is eligible to win this award more than once. Nonexempt staff are those individuals classified as secretarial, clerical, or technical employees (e.g. administrative secretaries, department coordinators). Exempt staff are not eligible (e.g. administrative associates, managers). Only current nonexempt staff members are eligible to receive nominations for this award (retired staff are not eligible). Nominations may come from any member of the faculty, exempt staff, or nonexempt staff. Faculty and staff are not eligible to win any given University Award in two consecutive years, in addition to eligibility restrictions that apply for certain awards. Nominations will be screened by the Nonexempt Awards Review Committee. The final selection will be made by the Senior Officers.
